marine forecasts for the Canadian portion of the Great Lakes and the
Ontario portion of the St. Lawrence River issued by Environment
Canada at 6:30 p.M. EST Friday 24 November 2017 for tonight and
Saturday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 3:00 a.M. EST Saturday.


Fog implies visibility less than 1 mile.


Winds are for offshore areas. Nearshore winds may vary considerably
due to shoreline effects.


Note..the strong wind warning program is active from may 01 to
November 30.


Lake Superior.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind southwest 25 knots veering to northwest 30 this evening then
diminishing to west 20 Saturday afternoon. Periods of rain changing
to chance of showers tonight then to flurries early Saturday
morning.


Whitefish Bay.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind southwest 15 knots increasing to northwest 30 this evening then
diminishing to northwest 20 Saturday evening. Periods of rain
changing to chance of showers overnight and Saturday morning then to
flurries Saturday morning.


Northern Lake Huron.
Gale Warning in effect.
Wind southwest 35 knots diminishing to northwest 30 late overnight.
Wind northwest 30 Saturday. Showers changing to chance of showers
Saturday morning then to a few flurries near noon Saturday.


Southern Lake Huron.
Gale Warning in effect.
Wind southwest 30 knots increasing to southwest 35 this evening then
diminishing to northwest 25 late overnight. Wind increasing to
northwest 30 near noon Saturday. A few showers beginning this
evening changing to chance of showers Saturday morning and afternoon
then to a few flurries Saturday evening.

Gale Warning in effect.
Wind southwest 30 knots increasing to southwest 35 this evening then
diminishing to northwest 30 early Saturday morning. A few showers
changing to chance of showers Saturday morning and afternoon then to
a few flurries Saturday Evening.


Lake St. Clair.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind southwest 25 knots veering to northwest 20 early Saturday
morning. Chance of showers overnight and Saturday.


Western Lake Erie.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind southwest 20 knots increasing to southwest 30 early this evening
then diminishing to northwest 20 Saturday morning. Chance of showers
overnight and Saturday.


Eastern Lake Erie.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind south 25 knots veering to southwest 30 early this evening then
diminishing to west 20 near noon Saturday. Wind veering to northwest
20 Saturday evening. Chance of showers overnight and Saturday.


Western Lake Ontario.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind southwest 20 knots increasing to southwest 25 early this evening
then veering to west 20 near noon Saturday. Chance of showers
overnight and Saturday.


Eastern Lake Ontario.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind southwest 20 knots increasing to southwest 25 this evening then
veering to west 20 near noon Saturday. A few showers beginning late
overnight changing to chance of showers Saturday.


Kingston to Cornwall.
Wind southwest 15 knots veering to west 15 near noon Saturday. A few
showers beginning late overnight changing to chance of showers
Saturday afternoon and evening.
