Synopsis

Forecast as of 9:32 PM EDT on August 22, 2014 - High pressure over the north-central Gulf of Mexico dominates the waters through Saturday then begins to slide west as a frontal boundary sags into northern Florida early Sunday. The boundary weakens as it moves down the state during the day with high pressure moving in behind it. This high builds across the area for the early part of next week as a tropical system moves over the Atlantic.
